Come to Koehler Winery and visit with Sampson, our resident bison, or many of the other animals that inhabit the estate, which is a refuge as well for fine wine lovers! Also please come and enjoy the many picnic tables and the beautiful setting that we have around the tasting room. We are open from 10am to 5pm daily and have a nominal tasting fee of $3 to taste a minimum of 6 wines, or $6 to keep a logo glass. |

Here, you will taste our award-winning Estate and Reserve bottlings while learning about Santa Barbara County winemaking from the vine to the glass. Archive photos and other artifacts display the Firestone family's pioneering journey from turn-of-the-century tire innovation to the founding of the region's first estate winery in 1972 to the new generation of family winegrowing led by Adam and Andrew Firestone. |

Santa Barbara County is Wine Country for Southern Californians and a great discovery for any traveler. Many of the wineries have tasting rooms in which visitors are invited to learn about the various wines and offer tours to teach guests about the winemaking process. Some wineries host special dinners to demonstrate the pairing of wine with food and they hold events such as concerts, dramatic readings and art shows which are open to the public. Individual wineries make many contributions to the local community, through donations of product, personnel and monetary support. |
